The internet is full of people promising overnight success.

The reality is usually rather different.
Building an online business takes work.
It takes learning.
It takes experimenting.
And, occasionally, it takes discovering that something you spent two weeks building wasn't such a brilliant idea after all.
I've experienced all of those.
The good news is that you don't need to make every mistake yourself.
That's where this publication comes in.
Every week I share practical ideas, useful tools, proven business models and lessons I've learned from building online businesses over the last 25 years.
Some ideas will be brand new.
Some have been making money quietly for decades.
The important thing is this.
If I recommend something, it's because I believe it's worth your time. A Little About Me
My online business journey began in 1999.
At the time I was working full time as a Group Credit Manager for a large industrial company.
Like many people, I started learning about websites and affiliate marketing during evenings and weekends.
One month I received my first affiliate commission.
It was for exactly one US dollar.
Because I live in the UK, it would have cost more than a dollar to cash the cheque, so I framed it instead.
It still hangs on my office wall today as a reminder that every business starts somewhere.
Since then I've built affiliate websites, created digital products, run local media websites, helped hundreds of small businesses improve their marketing, launched online courses with more than 18,000 paying students, and spent almost two decades working for myself.
Some projects have been successful.
Some have taught me valuable lessons.
